Improvement Calculator
The Improvement Calculator enables hospitals to import data from the Keystone Data System, or your own internal data, in order to track a "total harm" rate in pursuit of safety across the board. When a hospital plugs their data into the Improvement Calculator there are several variables that the calculator is able to provide:
- A visual depiction of improvement
- Quantifies the improvement by HAC or Readmissions
- Estimates the number of harms prevented
- Estimates the number of lives saved (where applicable)
- Estimates the cost savings due to harms prevented
This tool helps to tell a story of improvement and brings the focus of improvement back to the patient level.
