Mentoring Criteria
We encourage hospitals and healthcare systems that have established a best practice in any of the areas of harm, readmissions, patient and family engagement, or high reliability to volunteer to be a mentor. We will connect mentors with hospitals and healthcare systems across Illinois and Michigan to learn from your journey. Hospitals and healthcare systems interested in becoming a mentor may select any of the following levels of participation:
- Share best practices resources you have utilized or developed
- Conduct Learning Calls with other hospitals in the network
- Association staff will work with you to schedule and facilitate the call. Learning Calls may simply be the sharing of your team’s success story in a particular topic area or may be more focused (for example, sharing a new readmissions risk assessment).
- Conduct Site Visits with other hospitals in the network
- Association staff will work with you to schedule and facilitate the visit.
