The Midwest Alliance for Patient Safety (MAPS) is a federally certified Patient Safety Organization (PSO) and an Illinois Health and Hospital Association (IHA) company since 2010. Our program provides full privileges and confidentiality, secure adverse event data-collection solutions, peer networking/learning and educational tools to improve patient care. Joining MAPS gives you the opportunity to meet your mission of improving patient safety and quality of care.
 

Understanding MAPS PSO

To date, PSO's have collected over 2,000,000 safe reports among 87 national PSOs within 29 states and the District of Columbia.

Patient Safety Evaluation System (PSES) Policy Support

MAPS members consist of 100 Midwestern health systems, hospitals, critical access hospitals, physicians groups, long term care and specialty outpatient clinics.

MAPS Ambulatory consists of: outpatient centers, home health and hospice centers, surgical centers, medical groups, primary care and specialty offices, free-standing emergency departments and more.
